Leah Brown is a multidisciplinary artist based in Sarasota, Florida, whose practice spans photography, watercolor, acrylic and other mixed media. Drawn to work that invites curiosity, reflection, and wonder, she creates pieces that encourage viewers to slow down, notice, and discover new perspectives. Her work has been exhibited throughout the region, including Nude Nite St. Petersburg, Fabulous Arts Foundation, Art of Music with Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center, and now, the Artist Residency with Creative Liberties at Arcos. Her practice continues to grow through exhibitions, community arts initiatives, and an expanding body of work rooted in exploration and experimentation.

For Leah, creating is both a joyful practice and a way of making sense of the world. Whether working with a camera, brush, or layered materials, she is less interested in providing answers than in creating opportunities for viewers to notice something they may have otherwise overlooked.
